Dear Men’s Golf League Member:
We hope you all enjoyed a safe and wonderful winter holiday season with family and friends. Spring is nearly upon us and we are excited to get our league started!
As a loyal member of our Boughton Ridge Men’s Golf League, we cordially invite you to attend our annual Men’s Golf League Kickoff Dinner. The Monday night and Thursday night players will have their own opening dinners. The Monday player dinner will take place on Monday, April 22nd. The Thursday player dinner will take place on Thursday, April 25th.
League Schedule:
- Monday League members will begin on April 29th and conclude August 12th
- Thursday League members will begin on May 2nd and conclude August 15th
- Memorial Day (Monday, May 27th) rounds will be played on Tuesday, May 28th
- 4th of July (Thursday, July 4th) rounds will be played on Friday, July 5th
- We will have a 3-Club Tournament (plus putter) at the midpoint of the season that will be played on June 17th and June 20th
- Rain Date: Scramble Dates
- Scramble Event: August 12th and August 15th
- Season Ending Banquet: Thursday, August 22nd
League Fees:
Your league fee detail is as follows. Payment in full is required.
Green Fees = $18.00 x 16 weeks = $288.00
Season Opening Banquet Dinner – “Grill Out Buffet” – Burgers, Bratwurst, Hot Dogs, Salad, and a Keg of Beer = $0.00
End of Season Banquet Dinner – “Steak Dinner” – 10 oz. boneless Strip Loin with baked potato, salad, chef’s choice of vegetables, 2 drink tickets good for anything on the bar, and a Keg of Beer =$71.00
Prize Money $2.25 per week x 16 weeks = $36.00
Total fee for 2024 Men’s League = $395.00
Payment is Due: Friday, April 18th. Accepted forms of payment will be cash, check, credit card or online at boughtonridgegolf.com. Checks should be made out to “Boughton Ridge Golf Course”.
Registration and Payment
- League members are asked to confirm membership and secure their tee times ASAP. Please email Nathan Oestreich at

- Deadline to secure your membership and tee time will be Friday, March 29th. Any unsecured spots/tee times past the March 29th deadline will be officially opened to our To secure your membership/tee time, complete the enclosed enrollment form and return to the golf shop.
- Payment in full will be due no later than the Season Opening Banquet Dinner.
Rules for Play & League Parameters
- Format for play will be individual stroke play and scored on a “Stableford Points System”. Players will be awarded points each week based on the following parameters:
Eagle: 4 points
Birdie: 3 points
Par: 2 points
Bogey: 1 point
Double Bogey: 0 points
Triple Bogey: -1 Point
Each member is responsible for checking themselves in on a weekly basis. Each player must check in with the Starter AND the Golf Shop Attendant before teeing off.
- League standings and statistics will be posted before the next scheduled league night. Standings will also be emailed.
- Tee times begin at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Mondays and 2:30 p.m. on Thursday
- The golfers in your foursome will select an official scorekeeper and will acknowledge that their scores are correct, at the completion of the round (i.e. Each player must sign the card, verifying their hole-by-hole score is correct. Signatures will be accepted anywhere on the official card. Rounds not verified by signature will not be accepted and disqualified.
- Absence & Make-up Round— Deadline for make-up rounds will be 30 days. Please make sure scorecard is put in the Golf League Mailbox located outside the pro shop. Monday and Thursday League Members must have make-up scores turned in by Monday, August 19th. No exceptions as all scores must all be completed. Please notify the golf shop, (630) 739-4100, if you will be absent for any league night. Make-ups can be done Monday through Friday anytime, and Saturdays and Sundays after 1pm.
- Tee Markers – League members will play from the designated tee area each night. Tee markers will be different week to week. League members will be required to play from certain tee markers for make-up rounds. Players 65 and over may play from the forward tees.
League Member Benefits:
- Receive a $3 discount on golf carts and a $1 discount on pull carts (league nights/make up rounds only).
- Voluntary entry into weekly “games of chance”
- 20% off golf shop merchandise (tees, balls, gloves and F&B items excluded)
- $80 10-Play Cart Passes (can be used for league play)
